[EBS입트영 3/19 Wed] Funerals / 장례식장
When the seasons change or when sudden cold weather arrives,
there is a place I often find myself going to: funeral halls.
find oneself going to ~에 가게되다
I recently attended two funerals, and the atmosphere at each was starkly different.
For an unexpected and tragic passing, the mood was deeply somber.
But for someone who passed away after a long and fulfilling life,
the expressions of the bereaved family and mourners seemed less solemn.

My thoughts get complicated when I am at a funeral, a place of both farewells and gatherings.
I am reminded of a movie that I watched decades ago, called "The Festival."
The film obseves the boisterous episodes experienced by the surviving family and guests paying their respects,
and likens it to a festival.

Above all, funerals remind me of the importance of healthy relationships with parents and family while they are still with us.
