24 Mon. Aerial Yoga / 플라잉 요가
As the years go by, I feel that I'm getting out of shape.
To improve my physical fitness, I've tried various exercises like working out at the gym and swimming.
But it wasn't easy to stick to one thing consistently.
Then, three years ago, I happened to come across aerial yoga.
Aerial yoga involves performing various yoga poses while suspended from a ceiling-mounted hammock.
Since you have to maintain your posture while hanging in mid-air, it helps strengthen your ab muscles and arms.
Hanging upside down aids the entire body's blood circulation.
Wrapping the hammock around your thighs or armpits can stimulate the lymphatic system, which also has health benefits.
At first, I though I woudn't be able to keep at it for long because it was so painful.
But as time passed, I began to feel the refreshing sensation of my muscles loosening up.
I want to continue practicing aerial yoga to maintain my health.
