The KDI School of Public Policy and management is affiliated with KDI(Korea Development Institute), undeniably the premier think tank for the South Korean government for the past 50 years. It was first eastablished in December 1997. 

 

The school fosters international experts with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of development economics and public policy. It was founded with the goal of nurturing future leaders across all sectors of society to cope with the rapidly changing international environment. 

 

I enrolled in this graduate school in the fall semester of 2022 and am currently balancing work and studies. A major feature of the KDI School is that it has the highest proprtion of international students among graduate schools in Korea. All the courses are conducted in English. 

 

The calsses emphasize active participation, blending presentations with group assignments. So, students naturally communicate with international classmates and can form friendships with them.
