Culture and Daily Life / 문화와 일상

 

 

I'd like to introduce a book club I am involved in, called "Culture and Daily Life."
I run this reading club with two close friends that I got to know through an English conversation club back in college.
We got started in 2016, so it's been 8 years already.

Every month, we take turns being the leader and select a book.
All three members diligently read the selected book, and then we each share our take on it.
We keep a list of the countries the authors are from.
We decided to travel to the country that was selected most often to celebrate the occasion of our 100th book.

I once travelled to Buyeo to visit a historic site mentioned in a book we read.
It was a very meaningful trip, and it filled me with joy.
